IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR INSURANCE

 

Please read carefully!

  • You may cancel any insurance plan and its benefits within 30 days of the loan date, and the entire premium will be credited to your account in accordance with company policy, the insurance policy, and/or as required by state law. If you purchased a Home & Auto or Silver Safeguard membership, the membership fee will be refunded directly to you, and you will continue to pay interest on the outstanding balance of the principal, which includes the amount refunded directly to you.
  • To cancel property insurance you will be required to provide proof of alternative insurance (current home owners or renters policy) with Regional Finance included as a loss payee.
  • If you cancel at any other time, the amount of your credit will be the unearned portion of the premium. If the premium is credited to your account, your account balance will decrease and the length of your loan term may also decrease.
  • Your monthly loan payment will not change.

The documents received at your loan closing provide additional information regarding your insurance plans and benefits*. If you purchased a membership plan, you will be receiving a separate welcome letter from the vendor.

If you wish to cancel or make changes to your insurance plan(s) or have questions on your loan or insurance plan(s) you purchased, please contact your local Regional Finance office or call (864) 448-7003 to speak with a corporate customer service representative.
